I think an important aspect of life is connecting to nature, understanding it, appreciating it and adapting a lifestyle that maintains a healthy environment to live in.
Plants provide us with oxigen and store water like a sponge. To reckognise that Nature can provide your food or at least supplement your daily diet, as it did for our ancestors will help to raise our perceived value of nature and the awareness to treat it right.
Hot tip for boosting your nutrient levels... Start informing yourself about edible native bush foods and weeds. Native plants are adapted best to the climate zone you live in and therefore need less human input to provide you with food. Weeds take up the nutrients from the soil first and therefore are often real super foods!
